We went for a very pleasant day riding up the Kedron Brook Bikeway, which is in contrast to the saga that begins tomorrow in Adelaide. This is something that we haven’t done for about 20 years. It was a perfect Brisbane autumn day, sunny with no wind. We started near Windsor and travelled west to finish at Kaperra. Along the way, we had lunch and talked to a young cycling family. Around Everton Park I was interested in the sculptures that had been erected next to the cycleway. Some of them were put there from local schools but others seemed to be sourced from local residents or the council. Anyway, it was great 34km ride, without traffic, passing bushcare sites, along a path that was so connected to local communities.
